How To Avoid The Stupid Tax Of Online Advertising

My Blackberry rang, it was Todd, a pretty young guy who recently joined our team he worked as a mortgage broker, he’s a really smart guy who understands leverage but he was totally off base when building his marketing plan.

Todd was planning to make a list of his past clients, co-workers, friends, family, and begin writing out letters and sending out emails, and purchasing traffic from some provider who promised some ridiculous number of views.

He needed to be stopped right away.

His friends and family would surely say he was crazy just like uncle Ron who tried something “just like it” 5 years ago and he never made any money so why would Todd.

And buying leads from random providers can be financial suicide.

Note: If the people you take advice from still punch a clock and are broke, STOP LISTENING TO THEM!

After we set his marketing plan in the right direction he thanked me and said, “wow I almost got charged the stupid tax huh”. All kidding aside nobody likes losing money and if you jump in online marketing with both feet without really knowing what you’re doing, the Internet is going to “tax” your wallet big time.

It’s a frustrating experience, and it can put a well-intentioned, yet uneducated business owner on the sidelines pretty quick.

-Your PPC campaigns will be disabled by Google or Yahoo.
-Your ezine ads will get a whopping “0%” response rate.
-You may never get to page one of Google.
-Your blog will be abandoned.
-Your Craigslist ads will be ghosted.
-And in the end, you’ll end up paying $30-$50 per lead instead of $3 to $5.

But there is a simple solution but you must allow me to be blunt…

Unless you have a MARKETING SYSTEM to plug into, you are dead in the water. Your wallet and free time will be taxed.

Internet marketing changes from day to day so it is extremely important that you are plugged into a team of master marketers with their finger on the pulse.

The key to mastering online advertising is (like all things) a little dose of “inside” knowledge.

Usually that would mean you’d need to read 10 different books and courses about online advertising to get your business started but not here, we’ve put step-by-step very specific training modules together for each and every new marketer.

If you are ready to treat this like a business and not a hobby then have you considered the following?

-How do you generate leads?

-Do you use offline or online advertising?

-How to you “effectively” follow-up with your prospects?

-How do you know if there’s actually a market for your product?

-How large should your marketing budget be if you want to make 50,000 per mo or more?

-How do you make ads FTC compliant so that you stay of out hot water with the Gov?

-How do you leverage your time with a personal assistant? Where do you find one?

-What should you do with the money you make so you don’t blow it all like most people do?

-How do you train your team so that it duplicates your success?

-How do you leverage your time and resources so you’re not working 70 hours a week?

There’s a lot to it, but the good news is that my partners and I can help you, and we’re some of the best of the best in the world when it comes to this type of business.

The reason we have SO MANY consultants achieving the “impossible”; they are able to leverage our HUNDREDS of COLLECTIVE years of experience in marketing.
